The saddest death in the series.

I cried during Dumbeldores funeral. After his death. I cried for Snape. My HBP book has wet stains all over it. Because I knew that Dumbeldores death was coming since the 1st book. But it just really hit me hard that Snape was the one who had to do it.

I didnt cry when Sirius died. I think Harry ruined that for me. I just felt like Harry turned into a jerk after that. I definately stopped liking Harry after the 5th novel.

In the 4th movie however, I cried for Cedrics father. Because it was just so sad to see a parent cry for his child like that. I dont really remember whether I cried during that scene of the book.

I was just so ANGRY when Snape died. Snape was my favorite character. And when he died I was just so fed up. Like, I cried, but it was mostly out of anger.

And Dobby. Definately Dobby.
I was just too shocked and confused to cry when everyone else died. It just seemed so unnecessary.

If one of the trio had died, it really would have hit me hard. Except for Harry, I actually hoped that he would die. My friends were like--"Hes the main character--he CANT die." and I was like, "Its going to happen. Harry will die!"

And he did. He just came back like Jesus.

What was the saddest death in the Harry Potter books, in your mind. I take all opinions and reject none, as I think all the deaths are sad. Some of the deaths are pointless, anyways, like Hedwig and Dobby!

I feel like Snape's death was the saddest for me. I was always cheering him on, hoping he was going to do the right thing and be a 'good' guy, and in the end, you see that he was. Sad.
