What was the saddest death in the Harry Potter books, in your mind. I take all opinions and reject none, as I think all the deaths are sad. Some of the deaths are pointless, anyways, like Hedwig and Dobby!

Despite all the deaths that occured in DH, I'm still upset over Sirius's death.

 Fred, Dobby, Lupin & Tonk (they just had a kid for goodness sakes!), Colin Creevy and Sirus. Y Colin u ask? Well, Rowling only mentions him for a bit in the second book and then, all of a sudden, he's dead. Sorta heart breaking and cruel of Rowling if you ask me.  |

To be honest, I only cried at Dobby, Hedwig and Lupin's deaths...though all of them were sad.

Hedwig's death was the most pointless one. She had no reason to be killed off.
Fred's death was sad...the twins are classic together. Dobby went out in glory so I wasn't sad. pretty much the scene when Harry realizes he has to die was the saddest part for me. |

Sirius was the most unexpected and Dumblerdore was the most dramatic. Between the two i think it's a tie. I really loved both characters and their loss hurt the series mnore than it helped in my opinion... well sirius' death hurt more than helped.
