I EAT BRAINZ!
Well, no, they're not. If I remember correctly, the Canidae family includes only dogs, wolves, and foxes. They are related to dogs, which is what I think you meant, but only up until their order - Carnivora. After that, dogs go into the Caniformia suborder, and hyenas into Feliformia.
Oh geez. See what my biologist mother has done to me? >___>
Anyway.
That's an interesting choice, too and I can definitely see where you're coming from. I don't think I know enough about either animal to establish an opinion, though. I'll do some research tomorrow, it's too late today. razz
Any reason why Fred has a ferret and George a mongoose, and not the other way around?
feliformia?
surprised like felines? like hyenas are cats? i dunno i never really paid attention in biology or any of my science classes really... stupid teachers think we're too dumb to understand physics
stare only branch of science i'm interested in...
fred ferret both start with "F". George Goose.. Mongoose... I was going for mischievious rodents and gerbil didn't really fit... the only other rodent with g i could think of... and mongooses are awesome. they hunt snakes and eat them. if you would like to know more about mongooses read Riki Tiki Tavi. possibly the best book written on the subject of mongooses... mongeese...
