Welcome to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!
This is a guild dedicated to continuing the Hogwarts traditions in a Semi-Literate to Literate role-playing environment. The roleplay is set in the time after the Second Wizarding War, 30 years to be exact! Hogwarts has been carefully reconstructed and there is no more threats of evil wizards or witches darkening its doorsteps. The school can once again be used to teach and mold young minds… So here we bid you to join us on our mission to continue in the Hogwarts customs and traditions!
Since this is a Semi-Literate to Literate role-play we expect you all to use proper English and have well formed sentences. In other words we do not accept chat speaking in this guild. Those who are found posting in chat talk will face immediate disciplinary action from our Headmistress. It is completely up to her what is to be done with you. A word to the wise, I would stay as far away from chat speak as possible.
Hello, fellow wizards and witches. I am the Deputy Headmistress of the new guild, Hogwarts: A Roleplay. That was just a small part of our welcome from Hogwarts! We are currently in the process of creating a true Hogwarts experience to the people of Gaia Online. We are sticking to the books and getting all of our facts right to give people the illusion that are really at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This will be an all OC based roleplay so you can completely submerge yourself into the world of Harry Potter. In the near future, we are planning to create a sister guild being the Wizarding World so that after our students graduate they can go out and take their place in the magical world of wizards. But that’s a story for another time. We are not yet open to the students but by this time next week we are hoping to be fully operational! We have a lot of Professors positions that need to be filled ASAP. Without our Professors we would be lost. Here is a list of all the positions we have open at the moment:

Now, just because you say you want the job doesn’t mean I’m going to give it to you all willy-nilly. We have very specific rules for the Professors, as well as what they need to do. You must always have a lesson ready for when class beings. Tests throughout the year and final exams at the end of the year will be mandatory. I need to make sure you know how to teach your subject properly. Please send me a PM with the title being ‘Professor Application’. Inside the PM, I would like for you to give me an example of your roleplaying skills and some knowledge about the subject you wish to teach. There is no formal application process because I feel if you are a good Professor, you would not need my guidance. If you would like a better idea of what the guild will be like please feel free to message with any questions! Here is a link to the guild itself. Even if you have no interest in being a Professor, we could always use you as a student. See you when term begins!
