I can't form an accurate opinion since I haven't read any of the Percy Jackson books. They seem a bit immature for my taste but that could be just the movie that it seem that way.

I feel like if Percy Jackson and Harry Potter came out at the same time and I was younger I'd have a hard time deciding since I was very interested in Greek Mythology at that age.

I read both series and I prefer Harry Potter more.
Personally I think if you post these in the Harry Potter forums, you'll probably get more people who favor Harry Potter than Percy Jackson.
Not this again, this isn't proper debating going on so much as red shirts for both sides are swooping in! gonk

I have to say both since both books have good storylines and awesome characters.

All that is gold does not glitter,

Still? Well, I must admit it would be interesting.

I know.
So any luck with getting a profile or two up and running on the CHB areas, so far?

Trying to wait on Pottermore arriving so a more through effort in salvaging this thread can be done, and am currently trying to pass the time by contemplating on Zeus's Aunt Aphy's daughters + granddaughters locking lips with female Veelas, pretty much.
Harry Potter.
Posting this in a Harry Potter forum your bound to get most people saying Hp. :>

Hello again, Kallepillar. biggrin
So how are you doing, as of late?

All that is gold does not glitter,

So sorry it took me so long to reply. I am good, but busy as usual. What about yourself?

Still trying to see if this vs match can be somewhat salvaged, while just awaiting on you to set up a Camp Half-Blood role-play profile so a military meeting in the Arena can begin in earnest.
You?

Thanks for the links I'll check the video a little later my girl has a show playing at the moment.

You have some interesting thoughts on time based powers, I will have to give some deep thought to your ideas.

I completely agree with you on Britain's MoM.

Alright, if you need me to provide you more cited links for the Potter-world, let me know and I'll see what I can find, alright?
Or even videos that show ideas that they should be acting on, for that matter, I'll do that one, too!

Thanks, also if they want to defend against Mind-Controlling or Brain-Washing, they have to make Mass Usage of the Unbreakable Vows, make no mistake, they will be their only defense against any of the Meta-factions of Camp Half-Blood, actually.

Especially when CHB also have Werewolves like Lycaeon running around on the loose, at some point!

I'll never know how in the 5th Harry Potter novel, Fudge just managed to just downright mutilate the British MoM's abilities to defend themselves, coherently speaking, and I'm not even sure I want to know, either. mad
Well in the meantime, we can pray that the MoMs of the other nations in the Potter-world would fare better, otherwise this is gonna be a very bleak matter to look at, next to how hard is it to raise the quality of debating levels in this thread, isn't it?

Thanks, I'll let you know,

I always felt that what Rowling's was attempting to up the drama in book 5 by showing weakness in the MoM.

Please do let me know the findings of the results, alright?

Apparently results were...downright mixed, at best, flat-out horrid at worst when regarding trying to set up fighting factions, right? crying
It just didn't help with the fact that(as much as I hate to admit it and believe that he needs some slack-cutting) Potter was surrounded by idiots for the 1st 6 Potter-world novels, most of the time, it was the last one where that wasn't the case, and thus it leads him to start thinking clearly as someone in the Military would have done during wartime(which felt so glorious and still does!)

Alright, I grant you that the lack of clear-thinking's partially due to being connected with his 'dear beloved' cousin Voldemort, but if he weren't in need of being raised by the Dursleys or if they were in the Military, don't you think he'd be better-prepared in war?

I agree at no time during the first six books was he in any way prepared for war. Hogwarts was not attending to prepare children for war so basically when Voldemort instigated war in the world of magic Harry had to learn on the fly. Now if the Potterverse had something like Battle School from Ender's Game Harry would have been much more prepared having been trained from a young age for war.

Is there more you want to add in those regards?
