OotP was a disappointment... but it could've been worse.
There was barely ANY H/G, and it only really showed itself with Ginny looking jealous like, twice. That right there is an improvement.
I love the movie version of Bellatrix to a certain degree. Helena Bonham Carter is just crazy enough for that role to be so absolutely perfect for her. She's NUTS, and it shows.
But, yeah. Umbridge can go die.

The actresses for those two roles were perfect...they just kept getting me mad...I was yelling at the movie....as usual....and then I was sad when Sirius died. I dunno if I'll be able to handle Dumbledore's death in the movie...the movies make it more real and more depressing...It could've been sooo much worse. I'm still not in love with it...I love OotP the book too much...

I was actually a little disappointed with Sirius' death. It didn't happen at all in the way I had imagined it... It was too quick in the movie, with not enough build-up.

In other news, I'm mourning the death of my Zune... D:

Honestly, I think his death was better in the movie, though I hated the fact that Sirius had to die at all.

But in the book, they never went into it. All you got was a blank stare from Harry seeing him actually die like that in the movie and Harry's reaction just added more to the story. Rowling is a writer who likes to play around just alittle too much with nonsense scenes.

And the movie is done a lot better then what she has ever done, now I do love reading the book, but her writing has drastically gone down hill in the sixth and seventh novel.

So, I do love Harry's screaming fit after Sirius was killed, plus it ended the question in the book that was just left open. Sirius is dead and is not coming back (unfortunatly) but atleast we got to see that.

I actually preferred the sixth one to book five. I felt that Jo really understood how much of the little nonsense scenes she had squished into OotP, and she made the necessary changes. The only problem I had with book seven was that it was too damn predictable. But, in my opinion, what she should have done is waited a little while to release book six. That way she could be further along with book seven, therefore allowing people less time to come up with potential endings.

I prefered it when she got right down to the adventure, the last two books were a major disappointment in my eyes.

However I loved the fifth one and the third one, I prefer the movies over the books because it just gets right down to the point of the story. The only nonsense going on were the ghosts around the students.

Rowling sometimes went past that just a little too much for my taste, some nonsense is okay for me, but not all the time. I prefer to just sit down and read an adventure book not just the silly stuff.

I love humor, I really do, but sometimes in a story it's not needed every chapter back to back.
