I'm going to rant about one thing real quick, I'll put it in white so I don't spoil it for anyone. XD

They made Lavender stupid. Why did they make Lavender stupid!? She was a bit clingy in the book, but it was her first boyfriend (that we see) so I can excuse her for that, but she was out of control in the movie. It's like they wanted people to hate her.

End of rant...for now. XD

I'm pretty sure they *did* want people to dislike her so they'd feel sympathetic for Hermione.

I had a blast at the movie, it was a good time. I dressed up like Tonks (hilarious, I spent all kinds of time researching her costume and trying to make mine like hers- and then the one I was looking at was apparently a test costume that was only a little like the one she wore in her ONE scene...) and my buddy dressed like a crazy evil punk witch. It was a good time. Today one of my teachers was wearing a wizard's hat, so I'm going to take him a wand.

also in response to the rant ---> I thought she was funny. I thought the actress did a great job. Lavender is kinda crazy in the book and I thought Jessie Cave (that is her name right?) did a fantastic job. It's just part of her character.

I didn't mind Lavender so much. She made me laugh and, as Spinner pointed out, it made Hermione look better.
What really bothered me was the Burrow getting set on fire....

--& I KNOW! now where are they going to have bill and fleur's wedding?! what really bugged me was the lack of battle at the end and also the lack of funeral! I was very dissatisfied with the ending. the Inferi were great though! creepy as hell and totally made me jump! whee

@Jun: I didn't like the ending much either. They spent so much time on the relationship shenanigans that it seems they ran out of time for more important stuff, like the ending or Tom Riddle. And I doubt there was ever going to be Bill and Fluer's wedding. They have never shown Bill at all in the movies, so there is no point in adding him in now.

I heard, not positive, that it's going to be Tonks' and Lupin's wedding. But I do know that they've cast a Bill and according to several sites Clemence Poesy has agreed to come back and play Fleur for the final film(s). There's the Shell Cottage scene, with Dobby and I know they haven't cut that yet, as there's pictures of them filming it. Even someone carrying around a Dobby doll. So I'm assuming that's where Bill and Fleur show up.
