The Mugglenet and Leaky jokes are very numerous this year. They both have like 10! I actually remember April fools this year cause my soccer teams been plotting to get our coach for about a week. The best we could come up with is having our 2 best players come in on crutches. It didn't work cause we all kept cracking up.

*pokes new purple and black braces* I got braces yesterday! YAY!!! I've needed and wanted braces for years... (I couldn't get them because my baby teeth wouldn't come out because my thyroid issues and stuff...) Now my buck teeth will be like, nonexistent!! :D

Ohmygod, I think mugglenet kinda overdid the whole April Fool's Day thing >.<

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!! It's my half-birthday!! xD No, seriously. My real birthday's October 1st, which is six months away from April 1st so April Fool's Day is my half-birthday xDD

It's kind of creepy. A bunch of my friends and I all have our half-birthdays on minor holidays. ._. One's half-birthday is St. Patrick's Day, another's is Earth Day, and mine is April Fool's Day. o.o

And I got my first job ever! I'm a cat-sitter! x] A couple of my neighbors are gone on a trip and I'm taking care of their cats while they're gone. One of the cats is HUGE- he weighs 22 pounds. O__O It's fun though. I love kitties >w<

@Lily: 22 pounds?!! that cat's freakin huge! you should like take pictures and show us, cuz I don't think I've ever seen a cat that big. Joey weighs like 12 or 14 right now, and he's kinda a tub-o-lard. what a fun job though, cat sitting. I could handle that!

ugh, it's been a rough couple of days. first the joey thing, now today I got this thing in the mail that's like a memorial booklet of the shootings. There's pictures, letters, info on the victims...it brings a lot of thoughts and feelings back to the surface. A friend of mine is mentioned in there. She was injured during the shooting. She was in the classroom. It'll be a great addition to my scrapbook thing, but today was a bad day to receive it. It's been over a month, but it still hurts.

and speaking of big cats... over spring break I saw a cat that weighed over 30 lbs (according to the owner). It was enormous. It was sprawled on an average-sized counter top, and easily spanned the width of it.

My friend had a really fat cat. He was about 17-20 pounds, I think. Her dog would always chase the cat around and try to fight, but the cat just had to turn around and raise a paw for the dog to run away. It was very entertaining to watch.

I used to have a teacher who had a picture of his cat on his website for class. His cat weighed (at least he said, but it really looked possibly) about 30lbs. And he said that the cat preferred to eat Doritos over anything else. lol.


Some guy just walked in my class wearing goggles. Like swimming goggles except they were tinted. Weird.

Oh Lorn don't TALK to me about the New Deal. I had to study it for Civics in order to finally pass the damn subject after flunking three times. I don't EVER wanna hear the words Roosevelt, New Deal and 100 days put together in a phrase again!

Speaking of never wanting to hear again, I don't ever wanna hear the name Andy Warhol again either. My History of Graphic Design homework about him managed to break my brain last night. Stupid Warhol with his stupid banana CD cover and his stupid Campbell's soup paintings...

zomg it's finally SPRING!!! It's like 65 and sunny today! YAY!!!! I went for a walk earlier to the downtown area. I went thrift shore shopping. 'twas fun. I found a pair of old navy jeans that were practically new for $10 and a really cute shirt for $5. Then on my way home, I think I got stung/bit by something. stare of course...that's my luck isn't it? It's not too bad. I have like a red bump on the back of my arm that kinda stings, but it's ok. I don't see a stinger in it and I'm not allergic. I think I'll live. wink

edit: this year meaning in the past year, not since january. I read that and it sounded like I've had 3 cats die in 3 months. sweatdrop
