Sonorous... Welcome everyone to the first ever Tri-Wizard Cup! We have our three champions- and now the first task is about to begin! Each of these three tasks is meant to test the awesome fandomosity of our champions. I've come up with a handful of activities that I think will be both fun and entertaining for everyone to watch. THE FIRST TASK Last night, I PM'd each competitor with a simple task. They were to PM me a list of any two Harry Potter characters. Was that the first task? Pssh. Yeah right. It was just to get ready for this! biggrin Each competitor must write a short one-shot ficlet featuring the two characters they submitted. It can be any sort of fanfic, and does not need to exceed 500 words (but of course, it can.) Romance, adventure, angst, humor- it's all good! THE RULES 1. Each fic must be original and written for this competition. Please do not submit a ficlet you have already written (and for goodness sakes- please do not submit one somebody else has written!) 2. Spinner humbly requests that you make use of the spell check feature on your computer. 3. When you have completed your fic, PM it to Spinner. 4. These fics will be posted in the thread (by me) so please make sure they adhere to Gaia TOS. 5.Get creative and have some fun! Now- for those of you who aren't psychic and can't see the inside of my PM box- here are the character pairings! smile miss_fawcett smile Ronald Weasley and Luna Lovegood smile xMidnightBlazex smile Lucius Malfoy and Sirius Black smile magic_lily smile Hermione Granger and Norbert The first task begins now! magic_lily miss_fawcett *is dancing around waiting to find out what the rest of the first task is* random thought. since the triwizard tournament is between schools, does that mean we are each representing a different school, not nescessarily one of the 3 we know? Good point.. that would be cool... but then we'd all be like, "NO! I wanna represent Hogwarts!" "I said it first!" lol. or something like that. I can't wait!!! This is gunna be sooo fun!! actually I was planning on being from Beauxbatons or make up my own school, however randomly. |
