Errr... Dumbledore fanart! That's unusual...
This is a younger Dumbledore though- hence the shorter beard etc. Still has Fawkesy though. smile

Haha - well, I'm working on another sketch- although this one is Salazar/Godric. WTF?
That's not any weirder than like Draco/Harry or any of those other slashes. confused

Well at least for most other slash- you at least have some canon material to base a story/art from. Some more readily than others. Even if it is a "OMG I HATE YOU I MUST HAVE YOU NOW!!!!" kind of thing.

LOL blaugh
It's not like there's absolutely no support. The sorting hat said that Gryffindor and Slytherin were friends until he all of a sudden started his pure blood mania. lover's spat? He had his heart broken by a half blood and therefore wanted to abolish them?

That's sort of the angle I'm working at in an RP I'm doing. It's Snape/Harry--- but we've started working in some "historical foreshadowing". biggrin
Oh man, I remember crying when Dumbledore died... And then a month or two later I had actually blocked it out of my mind... UNTIL one day, my friend found this old scene and sticker shindigs. You know, those lamenated sceneries with the rubbery pictures that stick to it and you can make a scene? Well she had Dumbledore, and she put him sideways and said: "Because he's dead!" And I thought she was joking! Then SLOWLY, ever so slowly, thoughts went to Haha! To wait... I'm missing something.... to: Is Dumbledore dead? to OH MY ******** GOD DUMBLEDORE DIED crying It was traumatic.

Awww- that is sad.
I seem to do things in reverse order. I dream alternate endings of movies and books (often much worse or more sad than the original)- and then I wake up thinking "Oh goodness! That was so sad!!!" before I realize- it was just in my mind.

It was really sad though- even though I was expecting it. sad

I balled when he died. crying I was at a friend's house (we had an all night HBP party) and no one had gotten anywhere close to that far yet (they actually slept? I have no idea why...) so I had to leave the room and cry like a baby while I read. I think I accidentally tear-stained my book... whoops... Then once I finished I drove home and called teh boyfriend and told him all about my plight, and accidentally ruined the ending for him... again whoops... sweatdrop

I was away at school and my roommate was at work when I got to that part. So I definately called my mom bawling and it took her like an hour to calm me down.

I was fairly calm just all stuffy when I called my boyfriend and once he heard the sniffles he was like "Dumbledore died didnt he?" and then he comforted me. That was the only time I got sympathy from him for it though, everytime since then when I read the book and start crying he just mini-scolds me (which is just saying my name all exasperatedly) and bans me from reading that part any more. whee
Ahh... I remember getting to that part... on july 19th, 3AM. My brother was sleeping and as we have to share rooms ( gonk ) I woke him up and he was all like: "STILL READING? SHUT THE GODDAMN BOOK AND GO TO SLEEP ALREADY!" Like I'd listen. Anyway, I practically cried myself to sleep once I had finished reading. Because it somehow dawned on me with all the funeral scene... no more DUmbledore. I actually reached the point of laughing and crying at the same time, like when Grawp patted Hagrid and his chair sank into the ground and stuff... but seriously though, I started crying when HArry knelt by the body and fixed Dumbledore's glasses, then cleaned the blood trickling from his mouth... and from there all the way up to the end of the book, and even after I had finished. I was so depressed crying crying crying
Yeah, I'm a wuss, and I accept it. For heaven's sake, I cried when watching the DIsney Tarzan movie! And I'm PROUD to admit it!! whee
