*blinks* So... much... pointless... SPAM.
Anyway...
In regards to keeping IMPORTANT facts from the book intact that would affect future movies, this one did great. The fifth movie totally butchered a lot of things that have to be fixed now, so this one did better for not screwing up key storyline things. (I mean, seriously, could the directors at least ASK the author what key points are important if they didn't read the books?)
The thing that sucked about this movie though is because there was so much information that it needed to put in for it to make sense, it was really boring and dragged out. The whole sense of "impending doom" was lost too, so ultimately that lead to the whole fire scene at the Burrow that will now also screw up things in the future books. Unless they just magically fix it before Harry needs it, I mean, I guess they could o.O
It stayed closer to the book than some have, it had lots of moments that were very enjoyable and such, but as a whole, the movie was just hard to sit through. I didn't mind because I love Harry Potter and I'd probably watch it if the movie had been eight hours long, but both of my parents who I went to see it with were bored. My dad nearly fell asleep and my mom had to go out of the main room and play in the arcade at the theater for a bit because she was sitting so long and didn't think she'd really miss much.
