Lucky you, Lucius. My writing doesn't pay well enough for that yet, so it's mechanic work and tv stations for this blonde. I love my job, especially because my bosses lets me run around in my barefoot glory, but I could really do without the sexist pigs.

Seems we do, Master Lucius. I learned mechanic work (and writing, actually) form my dad, too. He used to work as a trucker and take me cross-country with him.

He bought me my first Harry Potter book as well. He read the first four out loud to me when I was a kid even though we both knew I was more than capable of reading them myself.

My dad was a diesel mechanic, so I spent a lot of time in the cabs of trucks as well.
Not much of a reader, though - that was something I sort of picked up on my own.
