Ask The Directory: A Harry Potter Light RP Directory

As of 09/10/07 all Harry Potter Light RPs (Ask threads and others) shall be moved to the Chatterbox.

Because of their unique requirements, Ask threads really don't have a set home on Gaia, and other forums are not equipped to handle the flood of the greatness that is Light Harry Potter RPing.

As compensation the Moderators give the following, first, the fact that thread owners have a modicum of control in the Chatterbox to ensure they aren't spammed needlessly. Second, they grace ye of the Harry Potter Subforum with a user-ran directory linked in the sticky so you can have instant access to your favorite threads and hang outs all in one tidy place.

Post your Ask threads and RPs, or find your favorite haunts. Whatever you do, make sure that in the end, all is well.

To have your thread up posted, place a link with the title in the thread. If it is not posted in over a week then, and only then, PM Sirius Black-Lupin with your information.

Rules

o1. Follow Gaian TOS (this should be a given)
o2. Love thy Moderators
o3. Do not gripe about how unfair life is now that the Ask threads are in the Chatterbox
o4. While we all love RPs, this is mostly for just those laid back, loose structured RPs. Anything strict enough to be acceptable in the Barton Forums is too strict for us. Please don't advertise.
o5. If you're thread has not been put up in more than a week since posting it in the thread, then, and only then, PM Sirius Black-Lupin with a link, and she'll give you a cookie for having to wait so long.
o6. These are subject to change without notice, so keep your eyes open you little buggers.
o7. A spam free Sirius, is a stress free Sirius. So don't spam the thread, and please, for the love of Merlin, don't spam my PM box.

((Uhmmmm. If I wanted to move my thread back here, would I PM a Chatterbox mod or a HP Subforum mod? Because... Ask Mrs. Weasley was turned into a Discussion thread early on, but it still got moved in the giant Ask Thread Move the admin did.
I was just wondering. Because it was quite disheartening. I thought this might be a good place to ask. ))

My personal suggestion, PM a HP Subforum Mod (TKid seems to be the main guy taking care of us, but anybody on at the same time as you works) and they'll get you worked out.
