Well since this is a GAIA frathouse, and they have AIRSHIPS for transportation, a HANGAR makes perfect sense! And the best way to get people safely back to where they belong after a party, avoiding all the blindly stumbling people below xd .

Hanger isn't really have to store planes.
It have to same meaning as garage,you can put framyard machine or tanks or even locomotive in them and can be still call it a hanger.
