yea, I decided to because I missed out on fighting Jack to win one, and the golden egg ended up giving out a really nice (and expensive) item so I bought one hoping it'll give out a good Halloween item

With the Golden Egg, it didn't open until June 1st.

Plus, the zOMG Halloween event was a last minute ordeal scrapped up by the very small zOMG dev team so zOMG players could enjoy themselves, so they didn't have time to really think about what would be in the Cursed Pumpkin.
