Didn't read the comic, joined SIN cause I knew it's the safe bet.

People love to be the "bad guys." Just ask WoW players.

there is no good nor bad in wow. If you read all the lore it could go for either side. That sir was a bad comparison. Yes I play WoW and I on the horde, but the horde isn't bad at all. Their leader wants peace while the alliance leader wants war.....sry nerd rage.

Either way, the Horde is still the "darker" side.

Well in general it's been a close score type of thing. I can't really point fingers if they are upping/downing scores since there's no direct proof of jack either way.

Oh, I joined BOO on my main, I came to sin as a "bleh my mule could use a skin" thing.

I joined BOO because evil is overrated, and I prefer to be on the team furthest away from pathetic, wannabe-emo 13 year olds who haet their lives because mommy won't buy them a new iPhone after they broke theirs. emo

I also didn't care for the skins for either side, personally, but could see myself applying BOO's more than SIN's.

And I played my ********' 500 missions for BOO, and it was a boring process, this entire event, but I like the shield :C

does it matter when you like clams?

It always matters when you like clams. What if you prefer them in the afternoon? Or at a romantic fishing shack on the beach?

Also, they're cute. They squirt water at you if you try to dig them up.

This not my main I count and I just say your reason are really off
I join both cause well I couldn't chose sides XD

O.P is biased, assuming, and insulting. What kind of discussion do you expect to have when your blatantly and rudely insult the other side? The thing is, if you don't mind me being bluntly accusative in response, most people who joined S.I.N only did so on the "Badguys are cool" bandwagon that pretty much makes up the current rage of young teens. Being a "heavy player" or any kind of roleplayer has absolutely nothing to do with it.

For the most part, B.O.O players tend to be older, and a bit more mature in conversation. Not to mention that, in comparison, that strategical threads we have set up are better prepared. Often containing various stats, information, and setups that even an intense MMO player would be proud of.

Even before I started this event, I knew which side would win by a landslide if it was a fair event.

SIN is just too popular among heavy players, we don't want to be the frilly, ditzy good guys. The guys who wander around with a clam on their head, nude, because they aren't smart enough to get dressed. We're the gamers who dress in tight clothes and sexy armor, because we're awesome enough to pull the look off!

Worse than that, the "hero" of the BOO side went a step further, and scared off many of the more casual players. He did that by being a nude clam head... So suddenly all of your everyday gamers look at this and go "OMGWTF(udge)" and run screaming to join SIN just to get away from the BOO naked clam!

Here's a breakdown of who joined each side:
SIN
1) Heavy gamers that love going evil. (huge score-gainers)
2) Casual gamers that love the dark look. (moderate score gainers)
3) "nice" gamers, that were scared away from BOO by naked clam guy. (so-so scorers)
4) Anyone who stopped and asked themselves which side was sure to win. (moderate scorers)

BOO
1) Anyone who didn't read the comics and thought BOO was awesome. (low scorers)
2) Silly players who thought a naked clam guy was a great leader. (moderate scorers)
3) Cyberers who thought a naked clam winning would encourage cybering on Gaia. (low scorers)

A bit of this is guess work, but even guessing haphazardly, you can tell from the jump between "even" scores yesterday at 780 firings to today's score, now that admins who were rigging the scores started slacking off... SIN: +65 shots. BOO: +53 shots (after who knows how much tweaking before Admins gave up.)

Clear winner: SIN. Who should've been winning by a landslide the whole time.

If BOO still wins this event after seeing the score jump from last night to tonight, then we all know, it's only because the admins were cheating the whole time in favor of the naked clam guy.

Bad admins, bad. Telling us not to do naughty things in Gaia, then you go and expose us to huge clam p****.

Shame on you all.

I'll admit, I joined SIN for the sexy uniforms. The BOO garb is good for a Grecian look, but I thrive on Red/black and i've adored the edge at the bottom. sweatdrop The clam didn't really scare me off so much as remind me just how many uses I'd have for that outfit. Never the less, I was glad one could purchase them in the Marketplace.

In case everyone hasn't realized, I posted this to stir up reactions from both sides and get everyone's opinions on things. I honestly have nothing against BOO or against SIN, and merely sided with the group I joined so that I had a side to discuss from and inspire the wonderful back and forth we got here.

And the reactions are about what I expected, with a few amusing variations.

Most of SIN joined because of the comics or knowing SIN was going to come out ahead.

Most of BOO joined because of... well, to put it bluntly, here's a quote from an awesome BOO member's sig: "Nudity for Great Justice!" or their other famous quote: "does it matter when you like clams?"

End result:
BOO loses the event. But a few fun members have a better time in losing than most of SIN has winning.

Well, the manga made it pretty clear at the beginning. The example used was the Overseer favoring a passive defense and the Sentinel insisting on a more aggressive nature.

I understand what this person means when referring to WoW, though. Ashenvale Forest comes to mind.

Im one of the guys who likes to stir it up for my amusement too. Having a character on each side makes it more fun when you argue with yourself and others join in.

I didn't join S.I.N. because I thought it would be full of emo, depressed children who wanted to feel bad and cut themselves. Much like when I was on team Durem, I was sadly almost correct on this thought. I am happy I joined B.O.O.

How can I miss you
if you dont go away?

You're still making assumptions, which is downright insulting. What right do you have to claim you know why anybody joined either side? Most people I know in both S.I.N and B.O.O haven't even read the comics, or didn't until after they joined the event. The majority of SIN players seem to be the people who jump on the "Evil is awesome" bandwagon. Since we're on the path of assuming, i'm going to stand by that statement.

I figured BOO would lose in the beginning, but I didn't plan to come here and make an a** out of myself to get reactions. Aka. Trolling. I get enough of that in my beloved Extended Discussion
