New Google Earth imagery of Haiti

I post this mainly in the hope that a true appreciation of the damage will encourage even more of us to make a donation. A disclaimer: what you will see is not pleasant. From what I've seen, undamaged buildings appear to be the exception and one can see entire blocks reduced to rubble.

WIth that warning, if you want to take a look, download Google Earth and add this satellite imagery. The new images will show up under "Temporary Places" to the left of the map view. You can also toggle the new images on/off to compare the way the city looked before the quake.

Also, should you feel the desire to help, here's a starting point.

A final disclaimer: I'm not posting this as an employee of Gaia. Any offense taken (hopefully none tho! ^_~) should be directed at me individually.

when i heard about the earthquake hitting haiti, i was so shocked. so im gonna donate most of my money in my bank account to them. hope it helps
