my school is actually doing an emergency non-uniform day to donate to this. at 2$ a person and 1600+ people in the school i think we can help out! 3nodding

this has good intentions, but it's really best if support is sent by the government using tax dollars.

I agree with that sadly it is never going to happen, because remember even though their is a HUGE crises in Haiti, we're still in a bad recession donating that tax money will put a harder strain on us

The U.S. did send over lots of support with tax dollars, though. My concern is people giving money to 'charities' that can't properly send over the money or use it for themselves. It's the perfect opportunity for lots of people to be conned.

True, but this is the Red Cross, there one of charity organization that can honestly be trusted but it would better serve to host more blood drives right now more then ever
