Meh...

Personally, I've not minded the lack of other factions, it's meant little competition for resources, but you're right, we do have way too many Feds.

A guild with a strong universe can't be run using only one faction.

Especially with one of the new plot arcs I'm planning.

Lawl, yeah.

If the Klingons are going after Cor's hide they're going to need more than just Dyth and a bunch of NPCs. rofl

That's right! Indies can have 5 ships!

Well, the Klingons have a Command Ship (run by me, obviously) and Dyth running them since he's the only real active Klingon member other than one of my friends.

The Romulans used to have Serasa, but she's all but disappeared these days. xp

Yuppers, we can indeed! You Feds are stuck with only 3. xp

"We feds", may be stuck with 3, but indies can't pass number 6 ships, on any of the faction lists. Those are restricted ships. wink

That may be true, but we can mix 'n match upgrade parts from all factions and combine them into unbelievably strong ships for a lot cheaper than you can buy a higher level ship.

But give me the man who fights when he's sure of losing."

On top of that, the Feds are the only ones that aren't allowed to cloak. xp

EDIT: Sweet!!! We're second from the top!!

Well, if you can get a fleet that's strong then I applaud you but, the upkeep would be terrible. For instance.

#6 Defiant Class vessels are 30% up keep and if you get just one this would be your wallet.

50,000 x 0.30 = 15,000.
50,000 - 15,000 = 35,000.

So, I wish you the best of luck. I think the best idea would be to go for a small strike team of Danube's, if you can.

lol
Yes cloaking is fun.
And what friend ryugi? I know of no other klingons besides yours truly...
Unless he isn't very active?

I don't believe in a no win scenario.

Well, your flag ship carries no upkeep cost, and a single #10Galaxy Class ship is 1,000,000 creds factory standard so it still is cheaper, or at least, about the same cost.

EDIT: The Defiant is only 200,000 creds and with the other 800,000 creds you could easily mod it to take on a Galaxy class. Not to mention, being independent, it would have cloaking abilities

I noticed that buying factory direct is much more like it, until you reach the top, then you can get the most out of your upgrades.
