Introduction

The Invitation-only RP forum is a place where people can form and start closed-group Role-Plays, or RP Guilds. Mind you, this place is only for people to start RP Guilds that are a continuous storyline or environment, such as a serious RP that takes place in a mansion, in which has a storyline.

Rules
  • No Cybering!
    Cybering, or other forms of sexual situations, are not allowed on Gaia as this is a PG-13 site. If you promote or encourage people to cyber either in the forums or by PM then you run the risk of losing your guild and receiving at least a warning.
    It should also be noted that posting nude images or images that are particularly vulgar or gory are also not allowed.

  • No Abusive Comments
    This includes abusive comments to other users, flaming, trolling, harassment and stalking. You are allowed to swear on Gaia, but you are not allowed to insult other users, or go into their guild without permission and start trouble. If you are found doing this you will be punished.

  • No spam
    Spam can be many things, it can be simply an unwanted bump, intrusive comment, causing the page to scroll sideways, excessively long "bumps for gold" or gibberish; these are but a few examples. Either way, none of these are welcome in the forum, if you wish to spam then please do so in the Chatterbox.

  • No hate guilds
    Hate guilds that are directed towards a Gaia user, race, ethnicity or sexual orientation are not allowed on Gaia. These hate guilds that are found will be removed and the owner punished.
    However, you are allowed to create a hate guild that is directed to an object, such as books, movies, or similar things.

  • No advertising
    This is mostly directed towards those that own a GGN, but it can be applied to anyone that is advertising for a guild or other thread. Advertising in the Guild forum is not allowed, you may not create a new thread with the intention of advertising. If you wish to advertise to it within your own guild if it is allowed by the guild creator.
    Please note that this also includes recruitment and "looking for a guild" threads, those will receive warnings as well as be removed.

Where does my thread go?

In order to reduce the number of spam or abandonded guilds, all guilds will be required to have the following in the first few posts. Otherwise your guild will not be considered an actual guild and will be moved to Barton Town without notice.

  • Title
    Rather simple, have a title for your guild. It should reflect the focus of your guild, if it's an RP and if you are accepting members

  • Aim of the Guild
    What is your guild, what is it's purpose, what makes it special? In the first post you should have a small introduction that tells people just what your guild is about that what makes it special.

  • Rules
    Other then having to abide by the TOS and the rules of the Guild forum, what are the guild's own rules? For example, do you allow bumps, how does someone join your guild, what they should and should not do.

  • Member list
    Have a list of the members that have joined your guild, and it is also advisable to list those that are not welcomed in your guild.

  • Must be detailed and have a storyline
    Must be a custom RP that has a continuous storyline. This means having the person who runs the Guild have enemies for the people to fight, or have some sort of plot setup.


Those guilds that do not have these elements will be moved to Barton Town, please update your guilds accordingly.

Where does my thread go?

Military, Crime-based, Armies and Organisations
These types of threads are the ONLY threads that are allowed in the guild subforums that involve roleplay. All of the guilds however must meet specific ruquirements that are found in the Announcement at the top of the forum.
  • These threads go into Military/Organization or Free for All


Roleplays based off of a movie, TV show, book, video game, or other media
  • Series/Misc. Subforum


Bars, Inns, Traverns, Hotels, Nightclubs ect...
Threads that are based around a specific local such as a bar, inn, nightclub or anything having to do with commerce does not belong in the guild forum.
  • These threads go into GAIA Commerce



Chatting/Spam/Questions
Threads that are asking a question or that are just for general chatting do not belong in the guild forum. If you have created a thread that is asking a question, spam, or just for chatting it will be deleted and you will be warned.
  • Threads like this belong in the Chatterbox


GGN Threads
Either threads that are trying to sell a GGN, threads that are questing for gold for a GGN, or threads ADVERTISING for GGN in any way, shape or form are not allowed in the guild forum.
  • Threads like this will be moved to the Exchange, Charity/Quests or will be deleted respectively


Guild Idea Threads
Threads that are not a guild, but rather, asking people if they think making the guild is a good idea.
  • Threads like this will be moved to Chatterbox
