For those of you freaking out over Rachel, take a step back and relax. Rejection is a part of showbiz and it's about time that Rachel realized that. The problem with Schue always favoring her and giving her the lead solos is that she got used to getting the gigs that she wanted, and never having to face the realities of being in the theater business.
This was Rachel's first big letdown, so of course it's going to sting like a b***h. But there are other great music schools out there, and blowing one audition out of a career's worth doesn't mean her life is over.
I've blown some auditions, but I passed some others. The ones that I blew don't define me as a performer, and they don't define Rachel as one, either. The fact is, she needs to realize that she won't pass every audition she goes to. Life isn't like McKinley High. She will have failures, but she'll have successes, as well.

Oh please, I saw her rejection coming. And in my opinion, it's about time to. Every once and a while the one on top will get knocked down to the ground. It's what she does after this that will make her a stronger character in my opinion.
I think that this rejection was actuall y kind of good for her. Now she sees that she isnt always gonna get everything that she wants. And sometimes life takes a course that your not planned for. I think that if her and Fin do get married that it will let her give him a chance to live out his dreams and not everything is always revolved around her!
