You brought up High School Musical calling Glee a knock off of it. Perhaps that's your problem, you dislike High School Musical and the similarities between the two series angers you. I personally think of Glee as what High School Musical should have been.

I hate the show with a burning passion. Yet I can not miss an ep. I am excited for the next season. I even have fave characters. And all that s**t. I am disgusted with myself. WTF Why do I like this crappy HSM nockoff?????

It's not a knockoff of High School Musical. If all musicals set in high school are the same, you might as well say that Glee is ripping off Grease and Hairspray as well.

Ironically enough, and surprisingly enough, High School Musical started out as (and technically is) Grease 3.
