While I am sad to say I haven't followed Glee this season as schoolwork and life got way too demanding, I had to start a topic about this. I really am happy with the character of Artie. I am a disabled individual myself, and a wheelchair user. I can say that I feel Artie's character has been portrayed very honestly, and I am gratified that the writers are willing to touch on difficult or sensitive topics when one is dealing with a disability. Like, for example. bullying, or even more daringly sex and relationships.

While I have seen a few cliche moments, I also notice those moments are generally humorous, and more like a loving acknowledgement of cliched attitudes than honest errors made because of misconceptions. mrgreen
