Well, the last time I was at the doctor getting my college shots, he ran some tests and found that all the problems I should have (blood pressure, cholesterol, etc) are all perfectly normal. Also, I get reports back when I give blood and that also confirms that I have healthy pressure and cholesterol. I keep up with my skinnier friends, I bike everywhere, I don't eat dessert, I never have seconds, I always have at least half my plate covered with spinach (without dressing). I don't watch TV (no TV to watch), I always make sure I'm taking an athletic class (next quarter'll be social dance). I don't let the fact that I'm overweight rule my life, because it's not worth it. I dress modestly, by the way, but goodness knows I'm not afraid to go to parties and dance and sing and run around the block in the cold to go meet my friend's mom.
Do I wish I was skinny? Sure, especially since I like someone I know is out of my league. I'm on a diet and I'm making sure I move. All that's left, I think is to enjoy my life and enjoy the company of the man I like and hope ^^x. That's all you can do, sometimes.
