What a little liar....

My nephew, Marty, age 4, likes very much to lie. Maybe he's not aware he does it so much, but he lies all the time, straight-faced, with no fear of getting caught. For example:
cool "Marty, get away from Brandon's computer"
3nodding "I asked him, and he said i could play some shooting games on it."
eek (Brandon in the next room)"No I didn't!"
3nodding "I know."

Do all children his age lie like this? I don't remember my brother being this way.

I think what it is with Martin, is that he was exposed for two years to a woman's children, who knew nothing about the truth, but everything about lying. He has so many things he has done, because he was allowed to, while being watched by this woman, and so breaking him of these little habits, will be hard. His own mother is not happy with what he does, which is why he is in our home. His mother knows I am strict enough to make the changes happen, even under the stress I am under. I also know, after talking to her, that many of rules, if not all, that he has to follow here, are the ones she is going to enforce as well, as she sees how wonderful you two have turned out, Butterfishy.

I am a proud mother, a stressed out "grandmother" to Martin, but I love all three of you. You are my family.

i think they do anyways idk they probably go through a stage where they find out what lying is and take advantage of it because children are ******** pricks
