If someone knows how to steal, and knows how not to get caught, let them steal.
If it's from the mall, or like a store that's SO easy to steal from; Walmart, I won't be like, "OH SNAP GIRL, YOU BADDD."

The stores probably don't even notice it if you steal or not. Walmart probably doesn't even care if you take 30$ worth of stuff. 30$ is like, one tenth of a penny to them, if not less.

Sometimes, not everyone has the money to afford everything we want or need, so just jack it. Chapstick? I have a collection of stolen ones, but they all got ruined by the washer & dryer. :[

But anyway, I think it's really low and shady if you steal from family and friends.
I usually steal when it's like the mall or Walmart/Kmart.
I don't steal from small business owners, 'cause I feel bad for them,
not big businesses that make millions.

I'm friends with someone who used to be a security guard at Ross, and he let people steal. He didn't care, he's a friendly security guard.

Honestly, is stealing all that bad?
You take something that doesn't belong to you-----& bad

If someone steals from me, I can guarantee that person is going to get their a** kicked.

Of course they notice...And when someone steals they do one of two things:

1) make prices go up.
2) take away benefits from employees or decrease wages.

I worked at TJ Maxx as a mens merchandise coordinator. We had such a bad theft problem, they decreased health benefits from about 20 people, to 3 (And no I was not one of those 3)

They also decreased pay by 25 cents per employee to cover the cost.

Whoever steals from anywhere, can burn in hell for all I care. I have no pity.
Hell yes, stealing is bad. I never want anything stolen from me. It feels so violating, and just leaves you pissed off because it's YOURS! I can't condone stealing from big businesses either because, who gets to draw the line where stealing becomes "ok"? Better to just say no, it's wrong.
I'd be like, "b***h, you have the $800 cell phone, you can afford the goddamn Fritos."

People can't afford everything they need, so you go and steal chapstick? Dude, you could get a stick for a quarter at the 99 cent store.

You friend wasn't a friendly guard, he was a lazy one.
Stealing is always bad and someone always pays even if it isn't the theif, don't be a dumb a**

Chapstick was so important and so expensive that you couldn't just pay for it? That seems extremely stupid to me. If they're in an area that doesn't have a soup kitchen and they stole food to keep their families alive (in which I would think that they already signed up for government help, but in some cases it's not so easy), then I wouldn't look down on it nearly as much as someone stealing useless crap that they could easily live without.
Weeeheheeeelllllll

If you must knowww. I agree with you.
This is coming from an extremely poor person who RIGHT NOW does not even have money to buy Milk. literally.

BUT even if i do agree i still can't steal. I mean i have but like 2 or 3 times when the items were very small and outrageously over priced. But i get too scared. I don't want to ruin my life because of a stupid item i stole. It sucks.

Oh my god thats so true xd
My brothers gf worked at a store in the mall. When people stole from there, it decreased their wages. They didn't get bonus's at the end of the year nor did they get any chance of a raise.

The stores with the highest shoplifting rates also had people fired.

So yes, it's bad. You're taking money away from other people because you're too lazy and selfish to work up the cash to buy something you could live without.

But you have the money for internet obviously rolleyes
It all really depends. I don't really care as long as you don't do it to a business that is hurting. The weird thing for me is even if I know I haven't stolen anything from the store I always think the beeper is going to go off. I must be paranoid.

Stealing from ANY store hurts the business.
