I go back to school on... September 3rd, I believe. I'm going to be a junior... woo, I'm getting old... XP
I'm not particularly looking forward to it. I'm fine with being a junior, I just don't want to be 17 along with it. XD Sounds so much older than the humble sweet 16...
But I'll see all my friends every day again, which is nice. And drama always makes it worth taking AP classes. smile
I used to hate school until about 3rd grade, then I started to like it. Now, it's just like, "meh." I don't like the homework, but I do like seeing my friends and theatre. Things even out.
I try not to pass judgment on my teachers unless I particularly like one of them. Anything less is "they do their job." Whether they do it well....
I don't really pay attention to trends. And I don't hang out with "trendy" people either, so, yeah. The usual, I suppose.
If it's a trend, then people insisting on having their cell phones out on their desks, ready for texting at a moment's notice. They need to start taking cell phones from kids, 'cos it's really distracting for everyone.
No uniforms, other than what's needed for PE, sports (including dance team, color guard, and cheerleading), and marching band.
We could be stricter. I think more than anything it comes down to the number of students greatly outnumbering the amount of staff, but far too many girls (and boys) are getting away with breaking the dress code and having their cell phones out. XP
I'm not in band, but a great number of my drama friends are.
I am not ashamed to admit to being a dork. biggrin
