Hm... i don't see why people dislike Mountain Dew at all, you cant complain its "Too sweet" otherwise stop drinking soda :/ really and its not thick like, at all- its the same consistency as all other dews as well as Dr pepper and Orange soda >.> and while i may drink my weight in dew in a months time i still drink many other things so I'd say I'm quite qualified to say its /not/ thick its average- smoothest soda i think I've ever had was some special edition Dr Pepper- felt like water and tasted good too- none the less that's way above soda average >.> and its the ONLY soda ive ever had thats that smooth-
And yes Live-Wire is a great soda, in earlier years my local Hollywood video (Now closed down) had overstocked it every summer so i was able to get it all year round while it was summer limited, and it used to be my drink of choice- then Halo 3 Game Fuel came out- and ill have you know its almost the exact same flavor except they use Cherry extract also >.> so I'm sure that boils down to taste preference...Someone don't like cherry's
Also Horde red was a direct port of the original, it tastes exactly the same :/ and I'd like to keep it that way, However Alliance blue was a "New flavor" which it kind of was but resembled Baja Blast (Available at Taco Bell exclusively) a bit too much- trust me i'd know i drank them side by side and it was hard to even tell the difference
All in all Pepsi has some great products- its sad Dr-pepper is a coke product because it's another exceptional soda...
In addition so this topic doesn't get lolLocked i'd like to ask another question to any and all dew drinkers/ haters out there, what are your favorite limited edition dews Ex: Pitch black II and your favorite In-Production dews :B
