Chicago, Illinois (WiredPRNews.com) – Playboy magazine has found a new way to make readers take a second look. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the legendary adult magazine is featuring iconic cartoon character Marge Simpson on its November cover.
As noted in the report, the blue-haired matriarch of the Simpsons clan has also been granted a centerfold spread and interview in addition to her cover girl role coveted by thousands of young women across the nation.
Playboy spokeswoman Theresa Hennessey is quoted by the AP as stating of the decision to put Mrs. Simpson on the cover, “We knew that this would really appeal to the 20-something crowd…. We knew it was something all of our readers would get a kick out of.”
The issue will reportedly become available Oct. 16.
