You should try looking at some non-japanese lolita brands, like Anna House! Some places even sell stuff that is customized to your size before it is sent out.
There's always the option of having someone make clothes for you~

I have a friend who dresses in Lolita, it's cute and she pulls it off well, but I like styles like Visual Kei more...(Once upon a time trying Dandy+Kodona seemed like a fun idea).
