celticfreefall Erik Not many I bet. Unless you're part of some lolita group. I'm not gonna make a fool of myself and say I meant another thing when I said lolitas are atention seekers, I said it and I meant it. But like I said before I haven't met enough lolitas in my life. Most lolitas do meetups/get togethers, based on their geographical region, so that they can meet and make friends with people who share the same enthusiasm about the fashion. It's generally based on state in the U.S. (or country if outside the U.S.). So there actually are "lolita groups", as it were. That being said, I've known many girls who have either quit the fashion or loved it and never dressed it because they don't want to deal with standing out and attracting negative fashion in an everyday setting. Which, obviously, means that they're the complete opposite of attention seeking, but loved the fashion and hated the attention it brought. That isn't to say that there aren't attention seekers who are using lolita as a tool, but I think I'm safe to say the the vast majority of people just view it as a fashion choice. Say what? If I was a girl (no, stop thinking that!) I don't think I'd see Lolita as a fashion choice. Or well, not an everyday fashion choice. As you know clothes worn out as time passes and you wear it, and those dresses are just too pretty. That's why I don't wear fine clothing everyday, that and beacuse I like raggy worn out jeans and dirty tee's. |
