Lord God gave us free will. We can believe in anything we want to, but that doesn't make it any more real.
So many people have been corrupted. We must have great faith in Him, our Father.

God gave us free will, yet he already kn ow what we're going to do before we know ourselves. Ergo, he already knows whether we will sin or not, therefore he already knows if we are going to heaven or not.
Why bother?

Because, mister, we are just humans. And He is too complex to be understood by our tiny minds (no offense). Sure, we humans discovered many things, improved science and technology, and someday go farther than that, but that's just about it. He has a Plan (I don't know if the P should be capitalized or not, sorry.). We can't even try to understand exactly what He is going to do, right? We shouldn't be hurting our brains with this topic.

My guess lies in his honesty. He really finds himself at odds with many of the things done and cannot reason through them thus his turmoil led him to his opinion appropriately.

I'd imagine there never would be, either.

Not having evidence for something existing and not being able to prove either way whether it exists doesn't make its existence a 50% chance.

For me: There is currently no evidence for God's existence, so I currently have no reason to believe he exists. There could be evidence for God some day, and he could exist, but as of now, there is no evidence, and thus no reason to believe he exists.

There's a lack of "evidence" in the sense of the word being used for a lot of really common things including The Mind, The Soul, Ghosts, Spiritual Capabilities and Necessity in Human, etc.
