you can't be without energy
you have energy in you now. and around you.
It does not go away
once i die, i'll still have energy in me
in my corpse and around my corpse
but in biological terms i am not immortal because i am DEAD which is defying this whole immortal things.
we're not talking energy
neither was i
i was talking about essence
etheral footprints, memories, etc
since when was this about ethereal footprints, essence, memories, etc?
i'm talking simply about some one's or somethings life.
and by the way, i believe that your memories are gone once you die
the memories of the people around you about you do not go away and the fact that there were ever memories means the memories remain
the memories arent in material form so who's to say they arent floating around
and what is life really
if life is just having a working physical body then machines are alive
if it is just being an animal, protist, archae or plant then why is work and energy transferred through systems pointlessly, due to animals performing actions to end
does that mean life's purpose and fulfillment lies in the act of being conceived and then dying?
my belief that memories disappear after some one dies is just a personal belief, i'm not saying it's fact. but it's pretty reasonable. memories arent anything physical, they're like memory on a computer. once the computer crashes, there's no getting that memory back; it's just wiped clean from a system. it's not like you can harvest the memories from the brain of a corpse.
life's purpose is to reproduce
simple as that
natural selection, all of that
everything about life, for every organism, is for survival so that they/we can carry on the species.
sure you can create a personal purpose for life, but that doesnt defeat the ultimate purpose.
i think i completely lost the energy argument in there somewhere
oh well i'm tired
