You may be wondering why I hope Steve Irwin will die painfully and slowly... Well, I am an Australian girl. I especially after Steve Irwin came out I've seriously been asked if I ride kangaroos to school, and some tourists once asked my friend if she tackled crocodiles for fun. Thanks to steve Irwin people have created stupid steriotypes of Australians. His accent is fake by the way, in all my life I have never known one person who speaks like him. I saw an interview with him and he said " As soon as you come by plane into Australia you can see kangaroos everywhere!!"
BULLSHIT I have lived here all my life and the only kangaroo I ever saw was in a zoo. 3nodding

That guy scared me.

I wouldn't watch him as a kid.

I live in Victoria, I'm sure if you lived in WA you might see alot of them, but when he said it he implied that everywhere you go there are kangaroos.

Live with it, you assholes are stereotyping Americans EVERY. DAY.

Besides, most people in Australia really are like Steve Irwin, and when I say that, I mean they also have down-syndrome.

You are wrong. The crocodile hunter created that steryotype first.

I HAVE LEFT THIS ACCOUNT. EXPLANATION IN JOURNAL

Yeah well I've been asked if I live in an igloo, so suck it up, everywhere has it's stereotypes.

Let them line up all their archers
We fight better in the shade
Let them line up all their shieldmen
They shall quickly meet the blade
Let their spearmen shake and tremble
Let their infantry know fear
If they stand then they shall fall
Before Northshield
Grr. I hate him too. He abuses the animals he catches. Yeesh, you can talk about a snake or spider just fine without grabbing it and scaring it out of its mind.

mad mad mad

Crocodile Dundee came first. I thought he was a satire when I saw him on the telly. But the Kangaroo thing, I live in Canberra and I see them all the time.

Uncomplicated.
Everyone gets stereotyped for something. Steve Irwin isn't the only one. You can blame Paul Hogan as well.

Questing for the less fortunate

People had stereotypes about Australia before Steve Irwin became such a hit. Instead of killing him, we should kill Americans, who (as TV tells us) can't walk down the street to buy the paper without becoming involved in a criminal investigation. But that's ok, because by the time they get back home their pregnant junkie teenage daughter will have promised to go straight 4evar and the will-they won't-they couple will have had hawt secks in the basement, but have left one vital clue that blows the secret wide open!

Man, being American must kick a**.

Steve Irwin died as he lived:
With animals close to his heart.
