Honestly I really don't chill with anyone of "my kind" as you so put it. I'm married to a blonde haired blue eyed beauty and I'm an American Indian. Her cousin's once tried to hang me when I was down in Alabama and ended up breaking one of my ribs, but I still chill with whoever I please. I'm pretty relaxed about the whole race thing, I don't really care all that much.

Fear of another race is a common thing, and of course fear can turn to hate if not dealt with in a proper way, I just think you need to find just one black person to put all your fears to rest and then maybe you'll only have one black friend but even then at least they'll be there. If they're pretty chill they can answer questions you have. Like I remember when I was in college I'd never actually talked to a black person before and I was like, o.o and he let me ask all those horrible questions like, "Is it true that black people love fried chicken?" XD I mean, it was ridiculous but sometimes you just need to satisfy a curiosity to make that fear go away.

You're following the representative heuristic, which is when you judge the probability of an event based on how it matches a prototype.
Ex: You hear lots about black people being infected with HIV, and then you think every black person has AIDS.
In other words, stereotyping.

I find them pretty interesting. I think I like them.
The spiders I don't like are the non-threatening garden spiders that weave a web in the middle of the sidewalk outside my front door so when I'm in a hurry I walk right through the web.
