When I was 14 I had to de-scale 7 of those huge expensive salmon, after 4 hours I was covered in scales.

My face was glistening like a mer-man, it looked like trendy glitter, it was even IN my eyes. gonk
Took like 3 progressive showers to get them all off.

It's tough to do something to your appearance that you can't fix. surprised
