Originally, it was a genre of music but now it is an all-encompassing term for whiny little s**t mongers that have nothing better to do then to complain about their oh-so-difficult suburban lives, write awful poetry and dress in such a way that they might be mistaken for goths, even though they are clearly a poorly copied knock-off.
