So today I decided against my mothers will
that I am getting another hedgehog.

this is my first hedgehog, he is a male standard hedgehog.

{ his name is hedgebert mcpricklesworth }

So i contacted this breeder in the area, and she has one male and two female babies... and I just don`t know what one to pick...
and if i get a female, do i breed?
PLUS she offered me a hedgehog that she has been breeding,
so it has expirence on how to tend to its litter... so if I do breed I should probably pick her for the first time...

TL;DR
just do the poll I guess.

MORE PICS:

{ male cinnacot; if i decide not to breed }

{ female white; my favorite, but not experienced in breeding, after all shes just a baby }

{ another female, who grabbed my heart with her dark face }

{ the experienced mother. only thing is she has no unique pattern. }

p.s. IF I DO BREED, DONT THINK I WILL LOVE MY HEDGIES LESS.
i will still love them with all my heart and wont mass produce babies.

You're too slow!

Yea but I love the white faced little girl D:

she is 300$`s, the mom and the male are 200$`s

Awww, I've wanted a hedgehog forever!
I can't get one because I already have 2 german shepherds...
and well, that'd be bad news. ; n ;
I would get the dark faced female, just because she's unique.
And breeding would be a hard choice.
I personally get wayyy too attached to animals,
meaning I'd want to keep all the baby's.
So if you breed, you need to prepare yourself to have
a liter or two of lil' hedgehogs,
or letting go of them all and giving them away.

don't breed
i had hedgehogs that bred and it was not good
both of the babies died.
plus there's a big risk for the mommy that she could die
or she may not get along with the male

i would never ever do that...

i don`t know why, but when it comes to hedgehogs I want to name them all uniquely.
I want a little boy so I can name him Quilliam

I`m in love.

Honestly, I would NOT breed them. If your mom doesn't want one hedgehog, she's going to HATE having eight while you try to find the babies homes, if you can even manage to do that. Plus haphazard breeding can result in fatal genetics. Plus, it's your first hedgehog. Get to know the animals first before you start makin' 'em hump.

I'd get the white female. Not only is she beautiful, but she's young and will humanize to you better, and if you decide later that you really honestly want to be a breeder, then you have a good gene pool to start with.
