First thing I need to say to most of you is that:

Eggs aren't MADE, your born with all the eggs you're gonna have in your life. It's when you start ovulating. So, it could just be that your body doesn't ovulate for certain periods at a time.

It's definitely not that your eggs aren't being made. All of your eggs are created when your still in the womb, that's why older women have a higher risk of having children with down syndrome your eggs get old as you do. There are hormones that trigger the release of the eggs, and it would be as simple as being on hormone therapy. But I have seen a girl who had an irregular period and it turned out that she had brain tumors, plus there is the possibility of ovarian cysts, neither of those are quite as easy to deal with, but there quite rare, so I don't think you have any thing to worry about. 3nodding

I looked it up, and I'm feeling less and less like there's a problem.
Although, I do have one last reason for concern, and that is that my mother had an ovarian cyst.
I need to look at the chances of that being hereditary

Sometimes doctors recommend using birth control because it does regulate your period. however some people gain weight when they use it or some lose it.
