so is that blemish going to be removed or not?
When were there moral issues involved with Photoshop anyway?
I never photoshop my pictures.
I only change the black and white contrast.
I don't even know how to photoshop.
that edited picture looks horrible
the original was better

There's always been this idea floating around that photoshopping an image was dishonest. People criticize magazines for putting advertisements of "unrealistically" beautiful models that have been photoshopped. I personally do have something moral against posting an overly photoshopped picture of myself in my sig. General altering your own appearence is somewhat pointless and deceiving. Beyond a few adjustments to brightness, contrast, and the like, I don't alter images that I aspect to be accurate representations of myself. I would never use the above altered picture in a sig or on another networking site.

fair comment. It is a sloppy, over done job, done mainly to prove a point. Perhaps if I spent more time on it, it would have been better, but oh well.
The girl went from a typical high school girl

to an entity of light lol.
Not talking s**t because I dont know or have photoshop.
Just merely saying. I'd rather know the truth.
You should photoshop a watermelon in one of my hands and a 40 in the other.

I photoshop, but I mostly just use colour filters, fix lighting, and fix blemishes.
I don't see why people see it as a bad thing.
I know one GDer who's really good at it
and he'd be a lot less liked if people knew that.

Good point. I overdid the contrast filters I guess. (I'm not in highschool though, but that's a technicality)

I'll try your edit... might take awhile

Well, the modeling thing is really part of advertising, and the point of advertising is to make something look appealing.

Really, I don't see a big problem with using image editing programs as long as you're skilled in using them (or willing to practice). There's a very slim chance I'll meet people from the Internet out on the street, anyway.
Hmmm, maybe the one of me in the mirror? The one on the right is a webcam pic so there's not much you can do with it.

Well, on second thoughts, I've lost the originals after I stuck them together.

Anyhoo, keep it up you'll get better with practise.
that's not very good.

It looks pretty cool though. It doesn't really look like you were trying to hide the skin, but actually make her look like her skin was radiating. Not a bad thing necessarily.
I wasnt bashing it. 4laugh
