"Sorry, but the easter bunny doesn't exist"

I didn't say anything back. I just stared and tried to look for a hint of sarcasm or humor, but I found none. I think my parents really think I believe(d) in a giant rabbit that B&E'd people's houses to give them candy, after littering their yard with plastic eggs with candy on the inside. It makes me cry on the inside.
