My parents are lenient on what I do because I do what they ask me to do, don't do what they don't want me to do, and I respect them.

And if I want to do something they don't want me to do, I talk to them about it.
Sometimes they let me do it, sometimes they don't.

And I don't disobey them just because, "OHMYGOD,YOUAREN'TLETTINGMEEXPRESSMYSELF." because I can express myself in other ways than just my physical appearance.
