Don't generalize too much.

I've always had more of an attraction to females rather than males. I've had a long term girlfriend/fiancée and I've also had a fiance.

I don't dig trends or cattle groups.

I myself am bi. I have had sexual relationships with both male and female partners, not just kissing (several girls in my area think they are bi if they kiss their friends). It does kinda get on my nerves when I hear young girls (and guys) saying "OMG I'M BI!" just to get attention. They might 'kiss' their friends but would never actually have sex with someone of the same gender. Sometimes it seems that the ones who fake being bi give true bisexuals a bad name.

So I've noticed a lot of teenage girls on this site have it listed clearly that they are "bi". Now I have no doubt that there exists both in the world and on this site completely legitimate individuals who equally (or at least partially equally) desire a taco just as much as a hotdog but in reading some of these girls' profiles, as I am wont to do when I'm bored, doubts seep into my mind with regards to the truthfulness of their claim.

Are these types of people really bisexuals? Bi-curious? Or bi-trendy because Allison in second period said it's cool?

Honesty, have any of you had an actual sexual experience with your same sex or really considered it more than just a "hey I wonder what it would be like" kind of whimsical thought?

Now maybe I'm completely off my rocker here, but it seems to me that saying you're bi has become something of a fad with today's youth. Kinda like POGs. I tripple-dog-dare you to prove me wrong.

sometimes i wonder about other people. like my friend claims to be bi-sexual but i just don't think she is. she's never had any experiences with girls.

i myself am very muchly bi-sexual. and i've suspected it since i was just developing hormones (i was having sexual-ish wants, curiosities and fantasies about both girls and boys. of course at the times i thought all girls had these kinds of thoughts about other girls.) and now i've had heated flings with both boys and girls. it confused me at first. but not any more. i'm sexually attracted to boys and girls. and that's just the way i am.

but it annoys me when girls will kiss another girl to impress a boy then run around going "OMG! i'm BI!" when they clearly aren't.

I have no proof of it's truth and no evidence that I heard it from someone, but I was told Homosexuallity is a retardation... IN MALES. Meaning females that claim to be bisexual or lesbian weren't born to be that way.. they were just raised wrong.

first of all fads usually only last a short period of time and being gay/bisexual..etc,etc. has been going on since shakspheres time, second. why would some choose to be gay and then persucuted by biggots and ignorance like that crap you just wrote. .obviously. born that way , and im not saying there arent people who are bi curious, but theres more to it than just some silly gaia debate you have going on.

i definitely agree that it had become sort of a trend,
but i don't think that makes it right to go around saying everyone who says they're bisexual isn't telling the truth. (i wasn't referring to you, just in case you get the wrong impression, harhar.)

i define being bisexual as a person who is attracted (physically, sexually, and mentally) to both male and female gender, and who would wed to both of them (preferably not at the same time. harhar, joke.) should the circumstances be appropriate.

in all honesty, i'm not attracted to genders, but people, period. i guess most people would call that pansexual.

Alot of 14 year old boys and girls think it's cool to be bi, I mean most would probably have the random kiss with the same sex to get attention, but would never actually commit to a same sex relationship. I mean I look at girls and think they are hot and make me a bit hot but I wouldn't want a relationship with another girl, or when I'm out go scouting for girls!
