Like, most of my friends claim to be "Bicurious".
Just, out of nowhere.

Though I can honestly say I'm bisexual.
I came out when I was seven.

I'm 16, 17 in feb.

I didn't exactly "come out" to everyone, because at that age it was this horrible thing to everyone. But I told a couple people, and around 12 I told my parents, my mom was fine with it, my dad will NOT tolerate it.

I'm not a huge fan of the "gay" "straight" "bisexual" only categories.

Personally, I find Kinsey's (as unethical as the b*****d may be) sliding scale of sexuality to be most appropriate. That there are no black and white sexualities, but many, falling anywhere in the spectrum between gay and straight.

I myself, identify as bisexual. Yes, I have had sexual experiences with women and I often find them more attractive. But I prefer to date and become more emotionally attached to men. Since I have a preference I cannot really call myself a "true" bisexual, but I fall somewhere near there on that scale.

No. It does not. Even being your father/male figurehead means nothing in terms of your love. In your formative years they can try to persuade your preference, but all in all it is sheerly your choice to make and in the end, it doesn't even matter what he thinks.

What makes you believe it is a fad to have such a sexual preference? I am merely curious as to your thoughts behind your comment. Just because some gay guys do that does not make it a fad, it makes them fake sometimes but you can't fairly say that ALL Bisexual/Gay males are doing it as a fad. It is a personal choice of sexuality. Same for Bisexual and Lesbian females.
