My first console was a PS1, then i moved on to a PS2. I loved that system, it never gave me any problems and its still working today (knock on wood). I had a hell of a time when i grew up playing all those classic PS2 games that everyone loved. Jak and Daxter, Final Fantasy 10, Metal Gear Solid, the list goes on. As i got older, my little brother got a Wii, and honestly i didn't really like it. Sure it was a new thing to me, i liked the fact that you could get up and move around, But the games just seemed boring to me, and i'm a Nintendo fan too. The only game that i really liked on the Wii was Zelda TP, SSBB, and like Mario Kart, other then that, i wasn't really interested in anything else.
As i got EVEN OLDER, yes i'm 19, an old fart. I got a Xbox 360, and honestly i know that all the systems have there pros and cons, but i like the Xbox 360 the most, not for the graphics, but for the huge amount of good games that are out for it. Gears of war, Halo (which is dead) Call of duty (which i don't play anymore) Mass Effect, Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, Bioshock, Oblivion, Battlefield, GTA, Fable, lol the list goes on. But when i look at the PS3, i just don't see as many games out for it. Sure now there are games that are exclusive to consoles, and some that they ported over. (mostly the big ones) But when the PS3 first came out, it really didn't have any good games going for it, besides MGS4, I'm sure now the library between the two consoles have evened out, but i cant help but feel that Xbox 360 has a slight edge over the PS3 bc of its "bigger" library. I know that the Xbox 360 has alot of problems, and i know that PS3 has free internet capability. But if everything was the same, we wouldnt be having this argument in the first place.
i was reading that Bioware is only giving ME3 Multiplayer Events to the Xbox and i think PC, but NOT SONY. Sony is supposedly blocking Bioware from doing that. Why? Honestly, I think this Sony is a shell of what is was before. But thats another argument in itself. i love my Xbox 360. : D
