Well when I was deciding between an xbox or a PS3, I decided to ask some kids around school.
PS3 kids: Yeah, it's good. Reliable. You like FF right? A lot of FF games are PS3 exclusive.
360 kids: HALLLLLOOOOOO!!! MASS EFFECT!!!! What!? You don't like those games!?!?!? You fail!
That, plus the whole RROD thing, my decision was clear. I'm sure the newer 360's are just as good as the PS3. But I believe that the 360 fan base is the next thing that needs a makeover.
Honestly the PS3 fan base is the worst of any of the three major fan based. case in point, is the fact that PS3 fans bitched at X-play because they gave Killzone 2 The great PS3 exclusive a PERFECT score...and the fans still bitched at them. When games are ported from the PS3 to the 360, the PS3 fan base makes Petitions, while the 360 fan based shrugs. All in all the best example of the darkest pits of the PS3 fan base...are resident PS3 religous fanatic, Death (and no not me, I'm known as Reality in the forums. )
Again the PS3 cannot play FF 10,10-2, 11 or 12, that is the new one can't, the very first models can...as for those before, on the PSone...I'd rather just buy a PSone or PS2 than to play a PS1 game on a PS3, because it makes the images look awful...
Halo 3 is over-hyped. though its still fun to play online...never played Mass Effect..I want to..Bulletwitch to me, is at least one worth renting to try out. Blue Dragon is a b***h, but fun. There are more....but I can't think of them at the moment in my time of mild tiredness..
the RRoD issue, yes the old ones are at the highest failure rate, while the newer ones are slowly getting better at not going RRoD, its still currently a problem. However I've know lot of people who still play Launch Models, those with the highest chance of RRoD'ing with no problems, so its not as horrible as a lot of people make out. in the end, its a matter of luck...
Well I mean the fan base around school...with everyday kids. Not some 28 yr old fan boy. But I guess what I mean with the whole FF thing, is that they'll be made for the PS3, not the 360...
First I'm 21 years old, and don't compare me to the fan boys, who are all the same. I play a console for fun, and all three consoles have fun games, so damn it in the fun factor they are equal.Second, in truth Final Fanatasy 13 is being made for the 360 as well. and as from Final Fantasy itself..it startedon the Nintendo Entertainment System, and the series has never been just a Playstation exclusive, though the majority is on it..

I'm not an Appeaser. I got a will of my own, and I don't follow the latest damned trends. I play what I play, because damn it I like trying new games, even if they get a score in the damn negatives I'll play it through to the end, just to do it. If I was an appeaser I would be whining and bitching about why the 360 is so horrible, and how Microsoft is corrupt and that the PS3 is the best, like you, and you are following the path of many of PS3 fanboys, so therefore your the one following others examples, and therefore have no will of your own.
Nor am I someone to lie about and praise the 360, even after the bad s**t that goes with it, and that the PS3 is the best console of all, like the 360 fanboi's would. I just don't care what people think about a console its my choice and opinions based on the fact I HAVE played games on all the consoles, each on had games I had FUN, "F" "U" "N", FUN playing, and therefore that is why I play the consoles, each one, and yes there are game I consider shitty on each with the exclusive, but then I just don't play those games, and either play through the games I have fun playing, or try something new. The technology powering the consoles don't matter, so long as the games I play are fun.
