Well ignorant people, it is obviously the Playstation 3 that stood out amongst the 3 consoles. They have games like Killzone 2, Assassin's Creed 1/2, Batman AA, Ratchet and Clank series, Resi 5 and so much more. What do Xbox have in comparison to all these hugely successful games? Xbox have games like Halo of course. But one huge, successful series and they want to knock Ps3 off the top? C'mon be realistic. Not to even mention Wii. Why is it even being mentioned in this column/forum in the first place? It's a typical family-fun based console and is just so, well, lame. Given a choice of these 3 consoles eg.(ps3 with 4 free games: Killzone 2, MGS 4, AC 2, COD 4) (Xbox with none other than Halo, nothing else) and (Wii with, say, Mario kart?), which would you choose? People with sensible "gaming" brains will definitely choose the former first without doubt. So people, stop arguing and move on with life. get a ps3.

2) If the Wii is as bad as you say it is, why is it in the lead still?


Of course he's also the most delusional man in the world too...

The Wii is in the lead in console sales, in video game sales it's in dead last. Since this is a large portion of current console company revenue it's debatable whether Nintendo is truly in the lead as far as Net Profit is concerned. I'd be interested to see the figures. Granted, I'm pretty sure Nintendo is in the lead, but I doubt they're as far ahead as everyone believes they are.

I'm not saying it's wrong, but that's an interesting bit of information if it's true. Which I find odd I didn't catch onto. Even if I've pretty much lost contact with this side of gaming after i entered the world of competitive gaming. Can't keep up with both.

However, I would like to point out that her proof that VGChartz was inaccurate was pretty close to what VGChartz has. In fact, it might only suggest that all totals are a bit lower than expected, which still allows for accurate comparison.

oh well, the wii does suck for just about everything, the reason it's got high sales is because everyone thinks the controller's gonna be fun and when they play it they realize it's just a rectangular siaxis controller xD, 360 finally has less exclusives than the ps3 and the ps3 has 2 models under 400 now, 360 matches hard drive space but it's 50$ more for the 250gb hard drive, so unless you get the arcade or the silver model both which only support "microsoft certified memory cards" which means you can't buy 3rd party memory cards or hard drives any more means that the 360 is now equal to or more expensive than the ps3, and it comes with a 54% failure rat compared to the ps3s 11% and the wii's controller never working, so ps3 for me, mainly because ff13 maybe on the xbox but was ade originally for the ps3, uncharted 2, infamous, and god of war collection/god of war 3, also, I like psp better than ds so that goes for the ps3 also

well the wii doesnt have a lot of shooting games and i think only 5 rated m games so its number 3 console. The PS3 has some awesome games that the x box 360 doesnt have. and the other way around for the x box too. So i think the x box 360 and PS3 are tied for 1st place. cool

I was shown that the MGS4 numbers are a little low, but I think that VGChatz numbers all run lower than actual. Even still, the ball park of most of those games shows that the Wii still has a lead in games sales.

As much as I love all 3 ((and believe me, i do)), i'm going to stick up for the wii because of it's innovative control system and fun games^^. the only thing i'm going to say against it is... MARIO AND SONIC AT THE OLYMPIC GAMES. I mean, the war between mario and sonic nerds was bad enough as it was before this game, then sega and nintendo have to add more fuel to the pointless bickering! ((by the way, i like both mario and sonic, but i prefer sonic^^))

Anyways, i still think the ps3 and the 360 are wonderful consoloes, but i can't believe that people hate the wii so much purely because it has inferior graphics. GROW UP. the graphics are still brilliant and people are moaning because they aren't as good as a console that crashes ((360)) and one that used to cost about 3 times as much as the wii ((ps3))? pathetic.
