To me, desire is a permanent want, period. Now, we're on the same page.

I put my definitions of greed and desire in retrospect like this.

Someone who desires power will always desire power until he has a power that can't be surpassed. If it can be, then he'll desire more power.

With greed, that person is more concerned with "how much power is available, because I want i all" It's not really quantity or quality, but you can look at it like that if it helps.

So what do you believe desire is?

I usually consider things to be in general or specific. You can desire or be greedy about a certain power, or you can desire or be greedy about power in general. I just read your post and thought, "Even if there was no human greed, human desire would still persist the same problem"

And you're right, anyone can stop desiring something and even stop being greedy altogether if they wanted to. Based on something else they've discovered or just by themselves.

Desire leads to greed, you can't just destroy one, you can't just take one out it doesn't work that way, not even hypothetically

Well, greed is a trait. Desire is, in essence, people's basis for living. There are people who aren't greedy, but good luck finding a man alive who doesn't desire.

it has motion sensor and it's range of games is a whole lot more than shoot-em-ups, opposed to the 360. i mean, look at the games for the xbox!!! its like ALMOST all shooting ones. ps3 is okay... 3nodding

Why would they do that when they can just claim its your fault because the console moved a millimeter while a disk was inside

Fable done steampunk style o.0 Sure the review said it wasn't steampunk, but I don't think the writer has any idea what steampunk is if he doesn't think swords, magic, clockwork villains, and the industrial age is steampunk. Even I have to admit it sounds pretty awesome. Yay for variety. Hopefully they can pull it off.
