Who USED to play neopets?

I used to play but it was boring after a while. Too many rude people, admins were completely absent, etc.
I joined Powerpets instead, much better, but again it didn't last. I guess that's true to most pet sites.

I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for Neopets. I started playing it the moment it came out, give or take a few months. I stayed on it for quite a while, but then they started putting up ads, and getting bigger, and more and more kid-friendly, and eventualy they just plain sold-out to all of us old fans who saw it from day one. They're all about making money now. They used to do all they did for the fun and pleasure of their fans.

Atleast they got me into basic graphic designing, the world of anime, roleplaying, and basic stock-market information, and art.

As I say... I wouldn't be who I am without it.
