What's the hardest game you have played

So for me, the 100 Trials of Joe on Viewtiful Joe 2 was the hardest portion of a game.

I don't really have an overall hard game though.

I've lost track of how many times I've stupidly gotten Gordon killed... right now I'm stuck on "We Don't Go to Ravenholm". Poison headcrabs are not fun. Poison zombies are even more not fun. And when they double-team with fast headcrabs, it's a recipe for disaster.

Especially when I'm out of ammo.

And there's nothing convenient nearby to use the Gravity Gun on.
